Wood Duck

Identification: A medium sized duck that is long tailed and leen. The female has a distinctive white "eye patch"; note the long tail and the crest. The female's overall coloration is a gray brown with some speckling on the chest and flanks. The male is a very colorful duck with white, green, moroon, red, yellow and gray found somewhere on its' body. The long drooping crest, long tail provide other ID clues.
