White-throated Sparrow

Identification: Upperparts rusty brown with darker streaking, note white central head stripe surrounded
by black lateral crown stripes, yellow supraloral spots and dark eye stripe, white throat outlined by dark streaks. In the adult the upper chest to mid face is gray. The wings are reddish-brown with two whitish bars.

First Winter- note retention of some streaking on underparts and tannish coloration to supercilium
