Western Tanager

Identification: The bright yellow color found on the head, chest and abdomen of the basic plumaged male first draw your attention, then you note the yellowish and white wingbars on the black wings, the dark tail and the light orangish horn colored bill. A few diffuse red feathers appear faintly near the bill in the top photograph.
