Visiting Nature Outings- May 2010

The images below are from different dates in May. The top four (4) images are of a male Ophiogomphus near susbehcha (?)which I captured in Goochland County, Va. On the same weekend (May 9) I observed two additional adults, both females, which I could not capture. The Appalachian Jewelwing was one of several observed along the Rivanna River in Fluvanna County, Va. The Dragonhunter and Cinnamon Shadowdragon were both observed during the weekend of May 15th in Fluvanna County.
