VisitingNature 2009 CBC Count Period
The birds below were all observed during the CBC Count Period at either the Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge or Bodie-Pea Island. The highlight was the Bell's Vireo observed along the causeway at Mattamuskeet NWR on December 27th.
The three (3) images above are of a Bell's Vireo observed on December 27, 2009 along the causeway at Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge. It ended up a count period bird due to high winds along the causeway on December 29 making the CBC birding conditions challenging. |
