Striped Meadowhawk (Sympetrum pallipes)
Identification: The thorax is brown with two (2) lateral white stripes in both the male and female. In adult males the abdomen turns red, legs black and the face brown. The female has an olive brown abdomen with parallel to merging black stripes enclosing white back to S8 and amber at the base of both wings.
