Spot-winged Glider (Pantala hymenaea)

Identification: Abdomen is a tannish-brown laterally and light grayish dorsally with darker brown markings, the thorax is pale with two tan-brown stripes, the wings are clear except for the two basal dark spots on the hind-wing and stigmas are light brown. The body shape is similar to a large robust golf tee. This species is constantly in flight except for early wet mornings or cool days which will find them suspended from vertical vegetation sunning to get warm.
