Orange Bluet (Enallagma signatum)
Identification: The adult male has an orange thorax with dark shoulder stripe, S9 is completely orange and S10 is orange below; note the long obvious cerci. S4-S7 have small orange bands on their leading edges. The immature male finds the orange replaced with a light blue coloration.
The female has a yellow-green thorax with a dark shoulder stripe and finds S10 buffy-tan colored and S9 mostly the same except for the dorsal side being dark.
