Northern Flicker (Yellow-shafted)
Identification: A large woodpecker with barred back, spotted underparts, a black crescent on the chest and in the male a black moustache. The wing and undertail feather shafts are yellow. Also not that the face is brownish and not grayish as would be present in a red-shafted Nothern Flicker.
