Mocha Emerald (Somatochlora linearis)
Identification: The male has a white basal spot on S2 and small orangish lateral spots on S3-S8 which fade with age. The thorax is unmarked and brown with a hint of metallic green. The eyes are also a metallic green color. The cerci bifurcate and have a distinctive ventral spine and a lateral knob 3/4 distance toward the tip.
