Gray Squirrel

Identification: The Gray Squirrel is a rodent which can grow from 17 to 20 inches long. They have grayish-brown fur, except for their bellies, which are a dusky white color. The tail often has silvery-tipped hairs. While Gray Squirrels nest in trees, they spend a considerable amount of time on the ground foraging for food. As can be seen in the photograph they are fairly dexterous with their front feet.
