Grasshopper Sparrow
Identification: Note the large bill, the flat crown with white median crown stripe, the buffy chest, flanks and belly and the yellowish/ochre loral area on the face. Grasshopper Sparrows are short-tailed and are a mixture of black, rufous and buffy-brown on the back.
