Gadwall

Identification- Gadwall are medium sized dabbling ducks; in the male note the gray sides, the brownish head with black bill, the black tail end and the brown coverts and silvery tertials.

The female has a relatively plain head, blackish bill with orange on the sides and a scalloped brown body.
