Elfin Skimmer (Nannothemis bella)

Identification: The smallest North American dragonfly. Females are a combination of black and yellow from the thorax to S7 and then S10 is yellow. The wings are washed orange-brown 1/3 of the way out from the body. The adult male below is pruinose blue. You will note the slight club forming at S8.
