California Gull
Identification: A gull sized in between Ring-billed and Herring Gulls. The mantle in the adult California Gull is a shade darker than the mantle of that of the comparison birds. The bill in the adult is marked with both red and black marks toward the tip. Leg color in the adult is greenish and the iris is dark.
