Brown-headed Cowbird

Identification: Adult male- Note the conical bill, the brown head and neck, the glossy stout black body.

Adult female- Heavy conical bill, body is gray-brown overall. The upper chest and flanks may be finely streaked and the throat is pale in color.

Immature male- Note the stout conical bill, the brown feathering appearing on the head and the glossy black feather appearing on the dull brown body.
