Blue-tipped Dancer (Argia tibialis)
Identification: Male- mostly dark with abdominal segments S9 & S10 being blue and tannish lines present at S2-S6, the thorax in full adult with purple stripes.
Female- two (2) color forms blue and brown. Both have forked stripe on thorax, have dark abdominal segments with tan lines at segments S2-S6 and S10 is pale.
