Bighorn Sheep (Ovis canadensis)

Identification: These animals are named for the large curved horns of the male (ram) which utilize them during the breeding season in combat with other males. The females (ewes) also have horns but not as long, heavy and are slightly curved. Their overall coloration is a tannish-brown with a white rump.
