Bachman's Sparrow

Identification: A shy secretive sparrow of the southeastern pine savannahs in North Carolina and recently clear cut large
tracts in southern central Virginia. Note the buffy chest and whitish belly, reddish streaked back pattern and the buffy-grayish wash to the face.
